We also have some monumental goals ahead of us that we want to achieve. To do that, we’re looking to grow our team! We are looking for someone to take on the position of Director, Marketing, Demand Generation at Surefire Local.

Director, Marketing, Demand Generation

Surefire Local seeks a Director of Marketing, Demand Generation who will be responsible for designing multi-touch demand generation programs, planning, organizing and executing marketing campaigns and programs that generate new prospects and engage existing opportunities to convert into. This role is a key bridge between Sales and Marketing and will develop a sales enablement strategy that includes ownership of the CRM, scripts, messaging and automation.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Establish a common campaign framework for the demand generation to meet the revenue goals for the year
  • Plan, organize and execute programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand generation activities in the sales pipeline, revenue and sales cycle length
  • Work with the Sales team on sales enablement tools, including training, scripting and campaign messaging
  • Segment and create campaigns based on customer profile and verticals to increase conversion KPIs
  • Organize onboarding training of new employees in sales and marketing
  • Work with the marketing team members to ensure that inbound traffic can be converted into qualified leads
  • Create a plan for content marketing, advertising, and channel partner outreach
  • Define the end-to-end lead management process in conjunction with sales operations including lead capture, nurturing, and service-level agreements (lead definitions, lead acceptance/rejection reasons and disqualification reasons that feed into appropriate nurture streams when applicable)
  • Implement testing methodologies to enhance the demand generation process, including response and conversion rates and multivariate testing
  • Evaluate, select, and manage outside vendors that contribute to demand generation programs including search engine optimization (SEO) experts, designers, copywriters, email providers, and list brokers
  • Manage and adhere to budget working with finance on budget allocation
  • Research, select, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rate
  • Develop and implement customer communications strategies to support upsells,  cross-sells and re-engagement efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree,
  • 10 years of B2B demand generation experience
  • Five or more years of B2B digital/inbound marketing, including web and content marketing, ability to leverage search engine optimization/search engine marketing (SEO/SEM), and content syndication
  • Marketing and Salesforce automation (Pardot or Marketo experience), campaign analytics experience (reporting and analytics tools)
  • Building and managing a demand waterfall with sales
  • Proven record of supporting sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets

  • In-depth understanding of key business metrics
