  1. Fear. You’re afraid of getting a no and you’re afraid to be wrong.
  2. Knowledge. Having the right level of knowledge of what things cost. You only need to know enough to have the conversations.
  3. The client is more knowledgeable than you. Being able to discuss finances is critical.
  4. Mother. It’s not polite to talk about money and how much things cost, but sometimes putting it out there right away saves you in the long run.
